Terms for this site and for bulk supply

This site is operated by STAKE GUNHILD, a Norwegian sole proprietorship (Enkeltpersonforetak), organisation number 969090813, registered for Norwegian VAT as 969 090 813 MVA, of Valdresvegen 489, 3550 Gol, Norway. Contact: info@stakegunhild.com.

Legal form matters here. An enkeltpersonforetak has no separate legal personality and no limited liability: the holder is personally liable for the undertaking’s obligations. Counterparties should take that into account when contracting. There is no separate company behind this undertaking; the register record is at virksomhet.brreg.no.

Stake Gunhild is a registered sole proprietorship (enkeltpersonforetak) supplying agricultural crop material in bulk to businesses. It sells to farms, feed producers and agricultural buyers — not to consumers, and not in retail quantities.

Consumer sales legislation is written for consumers, and it does not apply to a bulk forage contract between two businesses. If you are not buying in the course of a business, this is not the right supplier for you.

Sending the enquiry form, or writing to us, does not reserve stock, fix a price or create a contract. It starts a conversation. Any supply is governed by a separate written agreement covering volume, price, quality, collection or delivery, timing and payment terms.

Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Descriptions of crops are descriptions of what is typically grown here, not a representation that any particular lot is available.

Harvest volume in Hallingdal depends on the season. Availability is confirmed per enquiry against what is actually in store, and no tonnage is committed before that confirmation.

A growing season at 60.7° north is not predictable enough to promise in advance. Where a season fails to produce what was expected, that is communicated as soon as it is known rather than absorbed silently and discovered at collection.

Feed value varies by field, cut, weather and storage. Any figure that matters commercially comes from a laboratory analysis of the actual batch, quoted with its method and date — never from a table on a website.

Where a laboratory analysis exists for a lot, it is supplied with its method and date. Where one does not, that is said. No feed value, yield or nutritional figure published on this site forms part of any contract, because no such figure is published on this site.

Nothing here is veterinary, nutritional or agronomic advice for a specific herd or field. Feed rations and fertiliser plans must be set by your own adviser against your own analyses.

Stake Gunhild does not hold, and does not claim, organic certification. In Norway organic status is certified only by Debio; any crop sold as organic would carry a Debio control number, and none is published here because none has been issued.

No quality-scheme, sustainability-scheme or organic logo is displayed on this site, and none may be inferred from its description of farming practice. Low-input and clover-rich are descriptions of method; they are not certifications and are not offered as such.

The text, structure and code of this site belong to STAKE GUNHILD. You may read it, link to it and quote it with attribution. You may not scrape it to build a competing listing, submit the forms automatically, or use them to send anything other than a genuine enquiry.

• never supply plant material as a medicinal, therapeutic, herbal or dietary-supplement product, and make no human or animal health claim for a crop — forage is animal feed. stake gunhild makes no human or animal health claim of any kind, sells no medicinal, therapeutic or herbal preparation, and grows no cannabis, hemp or other controlled plant.
• never use or supply a plant protection product that is not authorised in Norway, or apply an authorised one outside its authorisation;
• never sell to consumers, in retail quantities, or through any consumer marketplace;
• never describe a crop as organic, or use a protected designation, without the control number that would make the description lawful.

This list exists because agricultural supply sits next to several regulated categories, and the honest position is to name the line rather than to stand near it.

Liability for a supply contract is set in that contract. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited under Norwegian law.

For this website specifically: no liability is accepted for a decision taken on the basis of general descriptions here rather than on the basis of a written quotation and, where relevant, an analysis of the actual lot.

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Disputes fall to the Norwegian courts, with Hallingdal as the agreed venue unless a supply contract says otherwise.
